Forbidden Fruit Festival


Before Irish's music promoters POD launched their flagship music festival in the heart of Dublin they contacted me to assist them with its branding. The festival, named Forbidden Fruit, was a summer festival and it needed to have a strong links to their main sponsor (a cider company). My solution was a hand drawn logo that captured both a summery and natural feeling by having the festival name swirl into the shape of an apple, with subtle nods to both Woodstock and Art Nouveau. Below is the finished logo and some of my hand drawn sketches that got me there.
